BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Marc D. Thompson is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and has founded two Genealogy Societies. He was the County Coordinator of the Chatham Co, GA USGenweb site for 3 years and writes a monthly genealogy column for Avenue Magazine. Delving into genealogy, research, writing and photography at a very early age, Marc has worked with youth, teens, adults and seniors in many environments and has helped people with their family histories goals since 1986. Marc believes in what he calls Creatalytical Thinking, the pure combination of creative philosophies and scientific research to view life, research and his vocations more fully. He has presented genealogical lectures and authored 10 family history volumes of the Thompson Family History. Genealogy is an hourly vocation. In that time allotted, Marc will locate as much as he can relating to what the client is seeking. The typical clients purchase packages of 5, 10 or 20 hours. Marc is very efficient and use all research avenues, including traditional, correspondence and online resources.
